CLUB PENGUIN HISTORY

Club Penguin was not always named “Club penguin”, and was not always like club penguin. The game we play right now has left a BIG history behind it.Until club penguin launched on October 24, 2005, there was expiremental pengs, that lasted for some months only. and started in 2000. We better skip penguin chat 1 and 2, since no one knows nothing about them.

Had you ever got at rocketsnail.com? It closed sometime during summer 2007. No, you couldnt play that penguin chat until summer. But you could play it at this site. Then they deleted penguin chat but they keeped the site. There you could play some cp games, for example, ballistic biscuit (Sorry I mean hydro-hopper), but you didnt have a penguin, there was a human! Rocketsnail closed from Summer 2007 to March 2009, when it opened again. But now there are no games on it

The whole game there was free and there was only one room: The town with its buildings. Here are its differences from club penguin:

• The town: In penguin chat 3, in the town was snowing.
• Gift shop: There was no gift shop. When you were going to get in, you got to the page with the real-money shopping.
• Dance club: No big differences. The band was always playing and it looked a lot like a drawing.
• Boiler room: Everything was black and the boiler room was small.
• Coffe shop: Same

General differences: The chat bar was smaller and there were les emoticons.

The major differences of penguin chat with club penguin were two. The first one is that instead of secret agent, you could be a ninja. While you were creating an account, you should click on “N” at the word penguin. The ninja’s dance was being invisible. The other difference were the snowcats: Yes, you could drive venchicles in penguin chat 3!!

I think this old version of club penguin was really fun. And, the biggest thing, there was no fame.

We are lucky old penguins keeped pictures from penguin chat 3 so they could show them to us in the future!

How penguin chat became cp…

One day Rocketsnail announced that they were creating a new game: Club penguin.

Everyone disagreed, like everyone does when something new happens.

Finally, Club penguin was ready for beta testing. Beta testers were only testing the game, and in the end they received an 1-month free membership and the rarest cp item: The beta tester hat!

Then club penguin was updated and updated and updated and became how its now.

Puffle History

2005

• October 24 – Club Penguin Opens, Puffles seen around but not officially introduced.
• November – Puffles officially introduced to the game. Colours originally blue, pink, green and black.
• November/December – Creature Naming Contest takes place. The winning name is “Puffle”, and the winner of the contest receives 5000 Coins and 3 days of free membership.
• December – The term “Puffle” comes into use and is used for the first time.
• December – All of the bugs taken out of Puffle Round-Up and it’s officially introduced to the game.

2006

• March 13, 2006 – The Pet Shop opens, allowing you to buy a Puffle. Members can buy all 4 breeds, and can purchase up to 8 puffles, while Non-Members can buy one Blue Puffle.
• March – Although a feature from the start, the puffle’s Special Play ability is made well-known in an issue of the Club Penguin Times.
• June – Purple Puffles started to mysteriously appear on Puffle Round-Up. During the 1st secret mission Aunt Arctic’s Lost Puffles, players had to find her 2 lost puffles, one green and one purple, officially introducing Purple Puffles to the game.
• August – The Purple Puffle becomes available for purchase in the Pet Shop.
• September – The ability to Walk Puffle is established.
• October – Rockhopper talks about his pet and friend, Yarr in his journal, which is a red puffle, prior to introducing red puffles to Club Penguin.
• November – The ability to Bathe Puffle is established.
• November – Second secret mission, called “Gs Secret Mission”, reveals the origin of Puffle O’s in introducing the O Berry, which causes a Black Puffle to enact its Special Play.
• Late 2006 – Penguins can’t see other penguin’s puffle’s names due to the fact that penguins were giving their puffles vulgar (bad) names.
• December – Captain Rockhopper introduces the red Puffles to Club Penguin, although they are not able to be herded up in Puffle Round-Up like the other 5 breeds. Also, Members can now buy up to 12 puffles, and Non-Members can now buy up to two, including the Red Puffle.

2007

• March 23, 2007 – Puffle play extended.
• May – Red puffles are able to surf with you in the new surfing game Cachin’ Waves.

Secret Missions and Book Room Library Additions

2005

• None. Secret Missions have not been created yet and the Book Room hasn’t yet turned into a library.

2006

• June – Aunt Arctic’s Lost Puffles able to be played by secret agents.
• November – G’s Secret Mission able to be played by secret agents.
• No Book Room library additions yet.

2007

• March 9, 2007 – Rockhopper’s papers get turned into a book, that becomes the first addition to the library in the book room called Rockhopper and the Stowaway. After reading this book, whilst clicking on the friendship bracelet, one is able to receive one of the friendship bracelets mentioned in his story (Friendship Bracelet).
• March 3 – Frankie’s First Show, The Spice of Life, and Truth or Dare added to the library.
• March 26 – Case of the Missing Coins mission released.
• April 12 – Story Writing Contest closed.
• April 26 – Winners of Story Writing Contest announced.
• April 27 – New books to be added to Book Room – Penguin Tales (Spring ‘07): Pizza Parlour Panic (Orantango), Comoica’s Jetpack Adventure (Comoica), The Legend of the Gold Puffle (Icmer).
• August 7 – Avalanche Rescue mission released.

• August 1, 2007 – Disney buys Club Penguin for a lot of money!
• October 26th – Golden Puffle spotted at Forest and Mountain at every half hour (alternating)

The Ninja on www.ClubPenguin.com.

A ninja from Penguin Chat 3

Ninjas are a very secret aspect of Club Penguin. When you click the N on the main page of www.ClubPenguin.com (on the picture of the Dance Club), the big penguin will put on a Ninja costume. But the “Ninja Mask” may just be the superhero mask. Ninjas outrank Secret Agents; this may be because only moderators can be a Ninja, but we can’t be sure. Many sources say that Ninjas have access to the “Ninja Hideout,” as Secret Agents have access to the Spy Headquarters. Ninjas were actually a playable character in Penguin Chat 3, an old version of Club Penguin. There was once a rumour that stated that you could become a Ninja if you went to the Dojo and stood still for 30 minutes, but this rumour is proven UNKNOWN. This rumour was created by “Sanity Penguin“, a notorious hacker who invented the CP Trainer of EVIL!. You can pretend to be a ninja, simply by turning your penguin black and then pretend!. Various people hack Club Penguin to attempt and get Ninja suits!.
Evidence1. Billybob confirms there are ninjas planned for Club Penguin in an official blog post’s comments. This was during beta testing of CP. 2. In old Official Blog archives, they refer to the Dojo as “the Japanese room.” Japan? Ninjas? Anyone see a connection? 3. If you click the N in nightclub on CP’s homepage, the big blue penguin turns into a ninja. 4. When Jet Pack Adventure was launched, there was an official blog post showing Billybob on the launch pad. He was a darker black than the usual black color. 5. You can dress like a ninja by using CP trainer. But CP trainer takes all the clothing off Club Penguin server. That means that there is ninja clothing on the server, (which means it was created by the moderators and does exist) you simply can’t access it through the catalog.

This is a user of Penguin Chat 3, the same user who uploaded a video on Youtube.com saying he was 310 days old on Club Penguin and was a ninja. Could it have been a hoax?

Sometime on 2008, ninjas returned to club penguin. You can now be one by obtaining a black belt and defeat SENSEI on the card- jitsu game.
